If you are a teen, or I assume anyone, go to the doctor&#039;s and say &quot;I think I&#039;m depressed&quot;, they just go right ahead and slap you on medication. No questions asked, no tests run, just a prescription and hour wait at your friendly local drug store.
They say depression is caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. Simple tests should be able to detect whether you have said imbalance or if you&#039;re just not quite right in your head. 
If they believe the shit they feed us, shouldn&#039;t these tests be run BEFORE handing out drugs?</description>
