OK folks, hang on for the ride. I have a blog on myspace.com/texaskojak but I can’t access it from work (I work overseas) so I’m starting up this one so I can update it regular. Once I get home, I’ll likely migrate my myspace.com stuff over to hear.First off you are warned that this will be a blog of my thoughts, opinions and a place for me to vent my spleen about the stuff that pisses me off.My user name is Shieldwolf which has several meanings. First is that my first name is Randal which has Anglo-Saxon origins and means “Shield Wolf” or “Wolf Shield”. Second is that my nature is that of a wolf in that I don’t follow the heard of sheep (meaning most of the idiots in the USA hereafter referred to as “sheeple”). This is an attitude that I have always had since I can remember and I’ll talk about in later blogs.Third there is a story about an old Indian chief who supposedly told his grandson.:“A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible battle – between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, pride, envy, lust, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies and cruelty.“The other wolf stands for honesty, kindness, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, friendship, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.“This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too,” he added.The grandson reflected on these words for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”The old chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”Got it? Good!
